Pollstar Ranks Chartway Arena in 2022 Mid-Year Report

Norfolk, VA – The OVG360-managed Chartway Arena, located on the campus of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, is ranked #2 in the world for university arenas and #8 in the world for all arenas under 10,000 seats by Pollstar in their 2022 Mid-Year Worldwide Venue report. The events industry publication mid-year report highlights ticket sales for top tours, arenas, festivals, and amphitheaters.

 

Chartway Arena, celebrating 20 years this fall, is having a historic anniversary season.  Pollstar ranked Chartway Arena #86 overall in the U.S. regardless of size, an all-time high ranking for the arena.  The first half of this season has included shows by New Edition, Billy Strings, comedian Jo Koy, Playboi Carti, Gabriel Iglesias, All Elite Wrestling, Jeff Dunham, The Harlem Globetrotters, KEM & Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, No Cap Comedy Tour, Trinity of Terror, Baby Shark, Blippi, Festival of Praise and The Isley Brothers.
